At all cost, AVOID the pay as you go attitude! This is perfectly okay in life if you choose to with paying bills, purchasing things or anything else BUT it’s not a great idea when you’re planning a wedding. Even if the surplus is there to splurge, it’s always best to have an ideal budget amount set on what you’d like to spend overall for your wedding. 2. Happily, Ever After: That’s AFTER the wedding!!

While planning your day, don’t lose sight that you must live after the wedding. True, your wedding day will be a beautiful day for the both of you, but when it’s all over with, the real life begins once you go home together as a married couple. There will be other goals the two of you will have such as: paying off credit cards, previous debt, saving to purchase a home, starting a family, etc.

3. Expectations are Sky High:

This pill doesn’t have to be so hard to swallow. The expectation that nothing will happen, everything must be perfect can be a little unrealistic. Try to breathe and relax and think through your thoughts and what you’re feeling.

2. Not really clear on what you really want and waiting to hear it from someone else. This can be dangerous while relying too much on Pinterest or other people’s weddings!
